Turn the lid completely till it stops for a leak-proof seal, turn the lid in the opposite direction a quarter turn to open for drinking. Well built sturdy stainless steel handle with rubberized grip to prevent slippage. Integrated carabiner clip allows fast easy attachment to most anything! The rubberized shock absorbing base incorporates a wide foot print for stability. We do not carry Thermos Nissan products that are insulated with foam. As with all insulated beverage containers, we highly recommend pre-heating these units by filling them with hot water - or cold water, and leaving them sit for a minute or so before storing your beverage. This will greatly increase the amount of time your beverage will hold its temperature.
