Thermos glass lined carafes offer an economical solution for keeping your beverages temperature they way you like it, whether hot or cold. This vacuum carafe has a mirror chrome stainless steel exterior, and an inner vaccum insulated double wall glass liner to lock in temperatures. The outer surface of the carafe stays cool to the touch, and is easily cleaned. The lid incorporates a thumb activated lever, for simple one handed pouring. The compression seal on the bottom surface of the lid is a heavy duty siliconized gasket to ensure years of service, with an air-tight seal.
The Thermos Nissan line of Vacuum Carafes come in to basic types: glass vacuum insulated, and double wall stainless steel vacuum insulated models. The glass lined models are more economical, but are not quite as durable as their stainless steel counterparts, which tend to be more rugged, yet a bit more expensive.
