This Nissan Stainless Steel Tote is amazingly compact, allows for a complete meal to be kept at optimal temperatures. Great unit for sending kids to school with hot lunches, or for a hot lunch at the office. Unit includes 4 seperate food containers, and a quality stainless steel spoon attached in the special case on the outside of the unit. The lid of the outer tote can be used as a drink cup when removed. The tote itself is not leakproof. The containers are as follows: main dish container - 12.5 ounce; leak-proof soup container - 8.8 ounce; salad container - 9.5 ounce; desert container - 5.75 ounce. All inner containers are manufactured from food safe polyproylene. Containers are microwavable, lids are not. The lid on the soup container includes a feature we havent seen before... a built in vacuum relief valve, which keeps the container from forming a vacuum once it starts to cool down. This makes it much easier to open, especially when youre hungry! Includes convenient shoulder strap for easy carrying. A very well designed and built unit! Keeps beverages hot 6 hours and cold 6 hours.
