The Bodum Lipstick Vacuum Flask demonstrates that Bodum really is in a class of their own when it comes to functional design ingenuity. The red lid of the Lipstick doubles as a drinking cup, and serves to keep the underneath drink spout clean while in place. Once the lid is removed, the spout underneath is locked, and will not let liquids pass through until the button on top of the spout is depressed. Once depressed, just tip the unit, and drink, or pour, directly from the spout. The button stays in position until it is depressed again. When finished, just depress the button once more for a complete seal. The bottom of the unit incorporates an slip proof rubberized pad that also serves to keep surfaces from getting scratched. As with any vacuum insulated beverage container, we strongly reccomend pre-tempering the unit with hot or cold water, and leaving it rest a few minutes before adding your beverage. This will greatly increase the amount of time your beverage will maintain its temperatures.
